Overview
Walmart contacted us to install local branding murals across five store locations in Tucson, AZ.
Each mural was designed to celebrate the local character of the city, using artwork inspired by Tucson landmarks and the surrounding community.
The Ask
The project required printed murals to be installed across multiple Walmart locations while keeping the visual theme consistent from store to store.
One location had a unique request: instead of installing the mural directly to a wall, the mural needed to be suspended from the ceiling in the middle of the store.
The Solution
Printed murals were produced and installed at the local Walmart locations, giving each store a branded visual feature connected to Tucson’s surrounding landmarks.
For the suspended mural, foamboard panels were printed and hung together to create a complete mural system that could be displayed from the ceiling inside the store.
The Result
The completed project brought local Tucson character into five Walmart locations through printed murals and custom installation solutions.
The suspended foamboard mural created a standout installation inside the fifth store, solving an unusual display requirement while keeping the mural visually cohesive.
